Strawberry Day at the Park

This annual affair marks the countdown to the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival!  Strawberry Day at the Park is held just about one month prior to the big event.  The community is invited to participate in several fun-filled activities such as the Strawberry Baking Contest and a Holey Board Tournament.  Other Ponchatoula civic organizations hold events on the site as well, such as the annual Jambalaya cook-off; there is something for everyone!  This day is intended to be a relaxing, enjoyable day for the citizens of Ponchatoula as we prepare to host one of the largest free festivals in the state.  All events are held at Memorial Park.  Please come spend the day with us as we kick off “Strawberry Festival Season” together.  As always, we promise you a “berry” good time!
