Welcome

Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival Logo Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival Logo Welcome everyone, to the official Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival website.

With over 300,000 visitors that visit each year from across the country it is with great pride that we invite you to the greatest festival and sweetest city around to witness what the 45 board members work so hard for all year long. This festival is hosted to not only promote the strawberry farmers and the industry they have dedicated their lives to, but to give non-profit organizations from around the state the opportunity to raise money for their scholarships or organizations by selling delicious Southern food while demonstrating what the great city of Ponchatoula is all about: family, fun, food, entertainment, and most of all, downright Southern hospitality.

While you’re dining on some of the best delicacies in the South, enjoy the large variety of music that can be found on two stages that anyone can find something to dance to; visit our newest addition, Lil’ Farmers Row, where children can enjoy the petting zoo or games by local organizations, where everyone is a winner; ride state of the art rides by Lowery Carnival Co.; and before you leave, make sure you stop by Farmer’s Row to buy a flat, or six, of the freshest Louisiana strawberries, because no trip is complete without getting a taste of what real strawberries should taste like. So, we invite you and your family to make your way to Ponchatoula April 13th, 14th, and 15th, of 2012, to experience the largest free festival in the state.
